Exploring Prayer

Here are a few questions to get started with-

    What is prayer to you?

                  How do you pray?

How have your prayers been answered?

Prayer to me is a time where I can talk to God. I ask for help and guidance.
I usually pray before dinner and if I don't fall asleep first, before bed. I mainly pray arrow prayer. Those kind of prayers that are on the spot, so I don't forget to pray about whatever it is later on.

I like praying in a group, I never used to. I was always scared that I would not say the right thing or sound rather rubbish at praying. I still forget names or sound a bit like a bad novel, but who am I trying to impress?

God knows what is in my heart and knows that it sometimes differs from what comes out of my mouth. He knows my true thoughts when my brain cannot work out the words.

So, I stopped worrying about it and enjoy the power of praying together as a family of God and the blessings it brings.
